No Visitor Accounts or Cloud Profiles
You do not need to register, log in, or provide personal details to use our service. We do not maintain visitor accounts or server-side user tracking databases.
Browser-Only Storage (Local State)
When you bookmark a guide, check off supplies, or adjust display preferences, this data is saved exclusively inside your browser's standard local storage and IndexedDB.
- Your bookmarks never leave your device.
- We cannot see what projects you save or track.
- Clearing your browser cache removes this local data.
Optional Privacy-Preserving Analytics
We may measure aggregate, non-identifying metrics (such as guide page views, reel clicks, and bookmark actions) using Google Analytics 4 to understand which tutorials need clearer step instructions. Tracking scripts and telemetry remain completely disabled until you grant explicit consent in our preferences or cookie banner.
We strictly omit names, emails, contact messages, search queries, and bookmark collections from analytics payloads. Browser ad-blockers and privacy extensions are fully respected, and tracking completeness is never assumed. All core DIY guides and workbench features remain 100% operational regardless of your analytics choice.
Third-Party Media Embeds
Some tutorials embed short video previews from platforms like Instagram or YouTube to provide attribution to the original makers. Playing those embeds is governed by each platform's respective privacy terms.
Contact Submissions
If you voluntarily submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, message text, and optional guide reference you provide solely for reviewing feedback, verifying suggestions, or replying to inquiries. Messages are held securely in our private administrative inbox and never shared with marketing brokers.
